With itineraries as unique as your clients and their needs, these new cruises, and additional departures will take your clients to the far reaches of the Arctic Ocean, the Burgundy region of France and the heart of the Amazon.

Amazon Sailings
Back by popular demand—and with two new departures to boot—is Aqua Expeditions’ Aria Amazon cruise. As the first adventure travel company to introduce luxury cruises on the Amazon River in Peru, Aqua Expeditions spares no amenities or comforts on its ship with 16 spacious staterooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a five-star chef on board to prepare all meals.

“The decision [to add new departures] was taken as a result of the increase in demand for the Aria Amazon after its new series of hosted departures had sold very well,” said Francesco Galli Zugaro, founder and CEO of Aqua Expeditions. “These particular departures are regular and not themed but still offer the best wildlife viewing opportunity.”

During the day, guests can explore the Amazon through wildlife excursions, jungle hikes, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and biking. As a reward for a day well spent, Aria Amazon cruisers can indulge in drinks at sunset, live on-board entertainment, movie nights, spa treatments, a dip in the Jacuzzi, and more.

The new Aria Amazon departures set sail on Nov. 27 and Dec. 1, 2017; pricing starts at $3,645 pp. For more information, visit aquaexpeditions.com.

Arctic Adventure
For your nature-loving clients looking to discover new horizons, send them on a cruise with MIR Corporation that follows in the footsteps of North Pole explorers to the remote archipelago of Franz Josef Land.

Discovered only 150 years ago, Franz Josef Land sits above the Arctic Circle about 470 miles away from the Eurasian mainland. What once served as an outpost for polar explorers is now part of the Russian Arctic National Park that welcomes only the most adventurous visitors willing to make the journey to its remote location.

On MIR Corporation’s 15-day voyage set to launch in July 2018, your clients will sail from the shores of Norway and across the Barents Sea to reach the 191 islands that make up this archipelago.

“We are very excited about this new expedition to one of the most remote and under-explored places on earth,” said Annie Lucas, v.p. of MIR Corporation.

With 24 hours of daylight to fuel their explorations, cruisers will be led by tour leader and award-winning travel writer Jill Worrall on a journey that will take them by sea kayak and on foot to discover the natural beauty and wildlife on several of the Franz Josef Land islands. Walruses, rare whale species and enormous colonies of nesting migratory seabirds are just a few of the animals that your clients can expect to encounter.

Pricing for this cruise starts at $12,695. For more information, visit mircorp.com.

Tee Time in France
With a little less than a year to go before the Ryder CupEuropean Waterways is tapping into the excitement surrounding this golf tournament by launching Ryder Cup themed golf cruises in 2018.

Set to sail during the week before and the week after the big event, these Ryder Cup cruises will allow your clients to soak up all the buzz surrounding the tournament with a Ryder Cup-themed welcome dinner and a gift pack of official Ryder Cup golf balls and other event memorabilia.

“We offer golf cruises throughout our cruising season that are popular with both our American and British clients, but the Ryder Cup is such a major event, generating so much interest on both sides of the Atlantic, that we realized ‘golf enthusiasts’ who come to watch it live in France would probably enjoy playing some golf themselves before or afterwards,” said Derek Banks, managing director of European Waterways.

Cruisers can travel on the 12-passenger L’Impressionniste, the 8-passenger Renaissance or the 8-passenger L’Art de Vivre on rivers and canals just hours away from where the event will take place near Paris. These routes will take guests through the Burgundy region of France where golfers can play several rounds at top golf courses with pre-booked tee times, while the non-golfers enjoy escorted excursions to castles and chateauxs. There will also be wine tastings, visits to food markets and other sightseeing opportunities.

Whole boat charter rates start at $38,800 for the L’Art de Vivre, $58,400 for the Renaissance, and $67,000 for the L’Impressionniste. For more information, visit europeanwaterways.com.
