Vacation hot spots across the country are revamping and adding more luxury, new spas, and more wellness to keep up with the trends travelers are seeking.

Rocking in Florida

The anticipated renovation and expansion of the Seminole Hard rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is finally complete, and the property is now open for bookings. The iconic guitar-shaped hotel calls for attention as it lights up the skyline during orchestrated outdoor music and light shows, and the $1.5 billion expansion calls for attention once guests step inside. This revamped gaming and entertainment destination’s focus is the 450-ft. Guitar Hotel, and the state-of-the-art Hard Rock Live performance venue for 7,000 of your closest friends. The casino was also expanded and updated featuring 195,000-sq.-ft. of gaming space, a 13.5-acre pool and lagoon with overwater cabanas, a luxury spa and fitness center spanning across 42,000-sq.-ft., and the DAER nightclub and dayclub complex, plus more than a dozen dining and entertainment options, and high-end retail stores.

Wellness in Alaska & Hawaii

Alyeska Resort, located 40 minutes south of Anchorage, is Alaska’s only year-round luxury resort nestles amongst the mountains and glaciers. The property is undergoing a renovation of its hotel lobby, common areas, guestrooms, and restaurants, as well as the addition of a Nordic Spa. The Nordic Spa, inspired by Scandinavian Tradition takes guests from hot to cold pools to achieve the benefits of hydrotherapy, in addition it features a steam room, saunas, and exfoliation rooms. In addition there plans for a state-of-the-art alpine sanctuary.

Wellness is still very much on trend, and for 2020 Montage Kapalua Bay will be enhancing its wellness offerings. First up is a newly upgraded Fitness Center at Spa Montage Kapalua Bay, which has undergone an extensive renovation and equipment upgrade featuring Technogym Strength and Cardio equipment, Peloton bokes and TRX 1010 classes. Later in March, the property will unveils a brand-new partnership with Lola’s Apothecary, known for its holistic approach to natural beauty, spa, and wellness and for its handmade small batches of essential oils.

Upscale Treats in Vegas

Plaza Hotel & Casino recently unveiled their new luxe guestrooms and suites. The $15 million renovation transformed more than 120 guestrroms on the top floors of the Plaza’s North Tower. New luxe rooms average 325 sq. ft— adjoining doors were removed to offer more storage options with modern wardrobes, and 16 rooms were combined to create eight new suites. New decor features warm wood tones and mixed metals with bold colors and graphics. Each room features an Amazon Echo Dot in the alarm clock, allowing guests to use Amazon Alexa to play music, check the weather, and even contact hotel staff such as requesting housekeeping, reserving a pool cabana, or making dinner reservations.

A new build coming to Vegas is Resort World, opening in 2020, with 3,400 guestrooms, and looking beyond 2020, Drew Las Vegas is slated to open in 2022 as a 67-story, integrated resort and casino in the Las Vegas Strip’s new luxury corridor. Drew will feature a 3-level theater, a hospitality garden, and 3,719 guestrooms and suites, retail, spa, nightlife, a pool, and culinary experiences.;
