For a $50 nightly fee, the Mountain Paws program provides your pet a welcome kit with a collapsible water bowl, dog ball, bag dispenser and homemade treats. A standout feature is the inclusion of a Tractive GPS & Health Tracker, allowing owners to monitor their pet’s location and activity levels throughout their visit. According to a survey by pet product company Chewy, 65 percent of pet parents believe traveling with pets enhances their trip—and cat owners have it just a tad more difficult than dog owners.

Purr Palace features a catnip bar with 14 toy varieties, a cat cafe with treats and a water fountain, and a gear station offering harnesses, leashes and carriers. The experience also includes a high-tech Litter-Robot or disposable boxes (for the more leery kitties).

Chewy also added unique touches like a 7-ft palm tree scratching post, oversized toys, an exercise wheel and a window-attached hammock for panoramic views. Many items are take-home gifts courtesy of Chewy.
