I went to Las Vegas last week, and no, I didn’t gamble or go to any of the world-famous nightclubs (what a bore, right?!), but I did ride the New York-New York roller coaster, went off-road jeep touring with Red Rock Adventures in Red Rock Canyon (maybe even a little scarier than the roller coaster), got a peek at a couple of new properties—SLS Las Vegas and Delano Las Vegas—called the new The Cromwell Las Vegas home for a few days, and ate, and ate, and ate…at Cromwell’s Giada’s; SLS’s Griddle Cafe; Wynn’s Sinatra; Della’s Kitchen at Delano; and The Venetian’s db BRASSERIE. It was truly a culinary bacchanal, and so no wonder this decadently delicious trip ended with breakfast at Bacchanal Buffett at Caesars Palace. Oh, and then there were those doughnuts at O Face Doughnuts in Downtown Vegas, but really I digress.
