Last week, I “snuck away” for four days to check out the pool views from the Junior Suite balcony at Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun Resort & Spa. During my stay, I was pampered with one of the best (and longest) spa treatments I’ve ever indulged in—complete with a pre-massage, 10-step hydrotherapy experience that lasted about an hour and a half (definitely kicking off the trip with high expectations!). I also explored Isla Mujeres; checked out a Mayan pyramid during my visit to Museo Maya de Cancun; was serenaded by Mariachis; went on a snorkeling adventure where I saw stingrays, sea turtles and a plethora of fish; took a lesson in tequila making (and tasting); and ate delicious ceviche almost daily (who knew there was more than one kind?); plus dined at some of the resort’s fabulous restaurants.
