Recommend just got back from Gala Vallarta Nayarit, where we got the scoop on what’s new in Puerto Vallarta, including updates to hotels and info on new hotels, too. We visited such properties as the recently opened Casa Kimberly, the former home of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, which completely blew us away. But that’s not all, new tours including some of Puerto Vallarta’s Magical Towns are now offered by Vallarta Adventures. We were fortunate enough to take a little “time out” from visiting properties to check out the magic that lies within Mascota, Templa, and San Sebastian—just about a 2-hour drive into the Sierra Mountains from the beach.
