Voyages to Antiquity features the cultural and archaeological legacy of the Crusaders and Biblical sites of Jerusalem with the natural treasures and historical heritage of Greece, Italy and Turkey, in its fall cruises.

The autumn 2014 voyages featuring Israel include 3-night hotel stays in Jerusalem; 2-night hotel stays in Athens; overnight on board Aegean Odyssey in Haifa; guided sightseeing in Jerusalem including the Mount of Olives, Dome of the Rock, Gardens of Gethsemane, and old Jerusalem; tours of Bethlehem including the Church of Nativity; views of Haifa Bay seen from the top of Mount Carmel; tours of the Biblical sites Nazareth, Cana, Golgotha and Tabgha; and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Acre, with tours of the underground headquarters of the Knights of St. John, including the vaulted Crusader Halls and refectory.

The Oct. 27 sailing focuses on Greece and Turkey, with guided shore excursions highlighting Athens and the Acropolis, the ancient Roman capital of Ephesus and the UNESCO World Heritage isle of Rhodes, Hellenistic Perge, the Roman town of Aspendos, and Jerusalem.

The Nov. 6 voyage begins in Jerusalem and continues to Sicily, touring Greek and Roman sites in Syracuse and the Norman heritage of Palermo, followed by the ancient ruins of Carthage in Tunisia and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Valletta, Malta.
