Sales are now open for MSC Cruises’ first-ever World Cruise, departing Jan. 5, 2019 and returning May 3, 2019. The 119-day round-trip sailing from/to Genoa, Italy will travel across six continents, visiting 49 destinations in 32 countries aboard the modern 3,223-passenger MSC Magnifica.

Throughout the around-the-world voyage, guests will visit historic ports, bustling cosmopolitan cities and remote, exotic island paradises from the warm, archipelago of Tonga to the crystal clear waters of Bora Bora. Highlights of the itinerary include the opportunity to ride elephants in Pinnawela, Sri Lanka; snorkel in the lagoons of Moorea and tour the Nga Bay National Park in Thailand. In order to make the most out of each port of call, MSC World Cruise guests will enjoy an average stay of 13 hours on shore per port of call. MSC Cruises has also arranged extended in-port stays, including four full days in Polynesia, three full days in both Hawaii and San Francisco, and two full days in Los Angeles.

Because guests will be spending 118 days on board, the cruise line MSC is offering numerous onboard discounts, including a 30 percent discount on laundry services. Rates start at $16,999 pp ($144 pp per night), and include 15 complimentary shore excursions. Guests who book early as a member of MSC Voyagers Club also receive a complimentary mealtime drinks package.
