AmaWaterways announced that its March 24, 2022 sailing aboard the new AmaSiena will cater exclusively to the Spanish-speaking market, plus high bookings for 2022 sailing season means The Netherlands’ Floriade Expo has limited openings.

The 7-night Enchanting Rhine river cruise will be hosted by a bilingual cruise manager who will deliver briefings in English and Spanish. Additionally, the sailing will feature a daily tour with a Spanish-speaking guide, daily cruise programs in Spanish, Spanish menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and two evenings of Latin-inspired music to accompany the cruise’s other onboard entertainment.

“With a focus on excellent cuisine, immersive tours and personalized service for less than 150 guests on board, river cruising with AmaWaterways continues to capture the hearts of affluent travelers from around the world,” said Kristin Karst, executive v.p. and co-founder of AmaWaterways, in a press statement. “We want to ensure all our guests feel right at home and provide the most exceptional and memorable river cruise experience possible, always with tailored and personalized touches. Our Latin touch sailing is the perfect example of this, and we are excited to offer this opportunity to our Spanish-speaking guests.”

Debuting this year, the elegant AmaSiena will feature staterooms with AmaWaterways’ signature twin balconies, a Sun Deck walking track, a swim-up bar, a Main Lounge and a complimentary fleet of bikes. Sister ship to AmaLea and AmaKristina, the 156-passenger AmaSiena will take Latin American travelers on their journey from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

During this sailing, guests will experience a variety of included tours, regionally inspired cuisine, and amenities like the Wellness Program, which includes four guided fitness classes per day. The ship offers complimentary WiFi throughout and entertainment on demand systems in each stateroom with movies, a music library and more. Included in their cruise fare, guests on board can experience The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant—an intimate dining experience with a multi-course tasting menu. Complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks are available with lunch and dinner, sparkling wine with breakfast, complimentary bottled water is provided daily in all staterooms and guests will also enjoy a daily Sip & Sail complimentary cocktail hour.

The 2022 River Season Reaches High Bookings
In addition, according to the cruise line, bookings for AmaWaterways’ 2022 river cruise season has reached record levels, therefore the company has announced that a limited number of staterooms remain to welcome guests during The Netherlands’ Floriade Expo. Located just outside Amsterdam, the city district of Almere will host the public event as part of the International Horticultural Expo, with the theme “Growing Green Cities.” This experience encourages visitors to “explore, touch and change” as part of their journey into Floriade, which will feature stunning gardens, innovative sustainable gardening exhibits, live entertainment, talk shows, souvenirs, and food stalls.
