Happy Holidays from Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando
Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Universal Orlando Resort’s Holidays celebration returns from Friday, Nov. 22 through Tuesday, Dec. 31, offering thrills and festive fun for families. Park admission includes access to seasonal experiences featuring beloved characters. Guests can witness “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter–Hogsmeade, meet the Grinch during Grinchmas and enjoy Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s floats and balloons. Enhance your clients’ holiday experience by staying at Universal’s festively decorated hotels or add-on experiences like The Universal Holiday Tour and The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast.

Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter transforms Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade with magical holiday decorations. Visitors can enjoy Hot Butterbeer while watching The Frog Choir in Hogsmeade or Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley. As darkness falls, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” illuminates with projections of beloved Potter moments. At Universal Islands of Adventure, guests can experience the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” live show, explore festive Who-ville and meet the Grinch himself in Seuss Landing.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios Florida brings characters from Illumination’s Despicable Me, DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek and Madagascar to life through giant balloons and festive floats. The parade culminates with Santa Claus’s appearance and the lighting of an 80-foot Christmas tree. Additional festivities include themed food and beverages, seasonal merchandise at the Holiday Tribute Store and character meet-and-greets, including Earl the Squirrel and a Holiday Nutcracker Hunt, across all three Universal properties.

The Universal Holiday Tour, available for an additional cost, includes exclusive meet-and-greets with the Grinch, Max, and Santa Claus; special refreshments; reserved “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” seating; an after-hours viewing of “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle”; and priority access to Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast. Available Nov. 25-Dec. 29, 2024. The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast at Universal Islands of Adventure offers breakfast with the Grinch and Seuss characters at Circus McGurkus Café Stoo-pendous, Nov. 22-Dec. 30.

All eight Universal Orlando Resort hotels feature festive decorations and special holiday menus. Guests can participate in Christmas tree lightings, Hanukkah ceremonies and caroling events throughout the season. Universal CityWalk joins the festivities with The Green & Red Coconut Club featuring holiday cocktails, Earl the Squirrel meet-and-greets (Nov. 29-Dec. 28), seasonal offerings at select restaurants, and more.
