Disney Treasure: A New Chapter in Cruise Line Magic

From the moment you step into the Grand Hall of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure, you’re transported into “A Whole New World.” This isn’t merely a clever nod to Aladdin. Inspired by the animated film, the Grand Hall showcases Disney’s unmatched attention to detail, created to immerse guests in a uniquely themed and beautifully imagined space.

The Grand Hall truly serves as the heart of the Disney Treasure, where storytelling comes to life through character encounters and captivating musical performances. Above it all, a dazzling chandelier takes center stage, surrounded by six ornate lamps—each one a symbolic nod to the ships in Disney’s current fleet.

The Disney Experience

During embarkation, I found Aladdin and Jasmine gracefully perched on the Grand Hall’s balcony, welcoming guests and posing for photos. Though I wouldn’t typically consider myself a die-hard Disney fan, I couldn’t help but be swept up in the magic of the moment, returning their greetings with heartfelt enthusiasm.

Later that day, when Mickey Mouse appeared in the same spot, I caught myself skipping with joy—a genuine reaction to the infectious wonder that Disney Cruise Line creates so effortlessly. It’s this kind of transformative experience that makes the Disney Treasure such a compelling choice for your clients who are new to Disney’s fleet or seasoned Disney cruisers.

And yes, the Haunted Mansion Parlor is beyond amazing! From the moment I stepped inside the parlor, I felt like I’d been transported straight into the eerie charm of the classic Haunted Mansion ride. The atmosphere was equal parts spooky and fun, with shifting portraits, an aquarium with swimming dead fish and unexpected ghostly appearances in the mirror behind the bar.

Delights Around Every Corner

The Disney Treasure exemplifies Disney’s legendary attention to detail, with enchanting touches that transform every space into an immersive storytelling experience. Art is woven seamlessly into the journey, with delicate pencil drawings and paintings of Disney’s characters and films adorning the walls.

The ambiance extends beyond the visual, creating a truly multi-sensory experience. As we strolled through the stateroom corridors and other public spaces, we were serenaded by melodies from classic Disney films. I couldn’t resist singing along to “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story and “Hakuna Matata” from The Lion King

The family entertainment aboard the Disney Treasure delivered the high-quality experience expected from Disney. Featuring vibrant costumes and catchy tunes, the productions offered a level of charm and magic reminiscent of a Disney movie with stars like Goofy, Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse.

But it’s at the Walt Disney Theatre where Disney’s theatrical magic comes to life with Broadway-caliber productions. I had the chance to experience three spectacular shows: Beauty and the Beast, Disney Seas the Adventure and The Tale of Moana, which beautifully captured the film with phenomenal set designs and a stellar cast.

Be Our Guest

Disney’s rotational dining concept allowed us to experience a different themed restaurant each evening, all with the same exceptional service team following us from one restaurant to the next.

Our favorite was Plaza de Coco, where Miguel and the Rivera family welcomed guests to join the festivities at Mariachi Plaza. Performers sang heartfelt songs in Spanish, bringing vibrant energy to the space and creating an immersive atmosphere. The experience felt like stepping into the world of Coco and celebrating Dia de los Muertos with the family.

Then there was 1923, an elegant nod to the golden age of Hollywood and the year Walt Disney Animation Studios was founded. Dining here felt like stepping into a time capsule, surrounded by meticulously curated artwork from Disney’s classic and contemporary films.

The Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah was an absolute gem for two adults and two children. As soon as I stepped inside, I was impressed by the spacious layout with a queen-sized bed, a sitting area turned sofa bed—complete with an above bunk bed—and a wall pull-down bed. The split bathrooms were ideal, making getting ready for the day or night a breeze.

The Disney Treasure offers an experience that expertly combines the magic Disney is renowned for with the excitement of cruising. This ship is more than just a cruise; it’s an immersive journey into Disney’s world of storytelling, enchantment and adventure. Ideal for families, Disney fans and first-time cruisers, the Disney Treasure guarantees an unforgettable voyage filled with exceptional entertainment, unique dining experiences and magical moments that will captivate guests of all ages. It’s a must-see option for your clients looking for an extraordinary cruise experience.
