Spot a a custom-designed Zipcar in Washington, D.C and you can enter to win a Blue Ridge Retreat Giveaway.

A new partnership between Zipcar and Delaware North unveils sustainable getaway to Shenandoah National Park for peak leaf-peeping season and is aimed at offering eco-conscious travelers a convenient and sustainable way to travel to and explore a natural wonder.

This fall, those who spot the 12 new, limited-edition Shenandoah National Park custom-designed Zipcars in greater Washington, D.C., can enter to win the Blue Ridge Retreat Giveaway, which includes a 2-night weekend getaway package at Skyland Resort in Shenandoah National Park, a free annual Zipcar membership and $300 in Zipcar driving credit.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts, a division of global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North, operates lodging and dining for the National Park Service at Shenandoah National Park, including Skyland Resort, Big Meadows Lodge, Lewis Mountain Cabins and numerous dining spots.

“Our stewardship of Shenandoah National Park extends far beyond the physical properties,” said Wil Amaya, Delaware North’s general manager at Shenandoah National Park, in a press release statement. “Offering D.C.-area residents with an eco-conscious transportation option through Zipcar is perfectly in line with our GreenPath environmental program, and we look forward to more Zipcar members exploring the natural wonders of the park.”

The collaboration between Delaware North’s Parks and Resorts operations at Shenandoah National Park and Zipcar is designed to promote eco-friendly travel and support the park’s commitment to sustainability. Zipcar provides a transportation option for those seeking to reduce their carbon footprint, while enjoying the park’s vistas, waterfalls and trails, which includes a section of the Appalachian Trail and rocky peaks like Hawksbill and Old Rag mountains.

How to Enter the Blue Ridge Retreat Giveaway

It’s easy: Spot a custom-designed Zipcar, scan the QR code located on the Zipcar door and complete the entry form for a chance to win. Two winners will be selected during the giveaway period, through Nov. 7.
