Windstar Cruises has announced its 2026 Southeast Asia program, featuring the debut of its newest yacht, Star Seeker, in Dec. 2025. Offering an exploration of Thailand, Vietnam and beyond, the luxury small-ship cruise line is set to redefine travel in the region with exclusive ports, extended stays and in-depth cultural experiences.

“We are thrilled to release these itineraries after many months of working with our local partners and visiting these destinations for research,” said Melissa Witsoe, Windstar’s Senior Product Manager, in a press statement.  “Windstar’s investment in destination development translates into unique, local, and exciting experiences for our guests.”

Southeast Asia Itineraries

Windstar’s Southeast Asia itineraries start in Hanoi, Bangkok or Phuket. Star Seeker’s small size grants access to docking locations at Ho Chi Minh City’s riverfront, Bangkok’s city center and the beaches of Ko Kood, Krabi, and Ko Yao Noi—ports often inaccessible to larger ships.

Windstar’s 2026 program features two core voyages:

  • 10-Day Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand: A Vietnam-focused journey with stops at three to four ports, including overnight stays in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi (Ha Long Bay). Guests can opt for a 3-day excursion to Angkor Wat.
  • 11-Day Thailand, Singapore & Malaysia: A Thailand-intensive itinerary featuring six ports, including Krabi and Ko Yao Noi, with an overnight stay in Singapore.

For travelers seeking a deeper connection to the region, Windstar is offering pre- and post-cruise land extensions in Hanoi, Angkor Wat and Chiang Mai. Windstar is also offering longer journeys that can combine itineraries into Star Collector sailings, ranging from 20 to 41 days, with the longest route sailing between Tokyo and Phuket.

Guests on these extended trips receive complimentary daily laundry service to pack light. Onboard, Star Seeker offers 112 spacious suites, nearly all featuring private verandas or floor-to-ceiling infinity windows.
