The Mount Nevis Hotel is back and better than ever after a three-year closure during which they refurbished all 45 rooms, beautified their already lovely acreage and opened a brand new restaurant, helmed by Chef Liam, an alum of the prestigious Bournemouth & Poole College.

“To have a historic hotel such as The Mount Nevis Hotel re-open is thrilling for us since this property encapsulates the beauty of our island for guests to enjoy,” said Devon Liburd, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority, in a press statement. “Providing travelers with excellent accommodation options continues elevating the Nevis experience.”

The luxury hotel’s guestrooms and suites are spread out among five pavilions set on 17 acres; each accommodation has its own balcony and patio overlooking the gardens and the Caribbean Sea. This is a family-friendly hotel, but they have a definite allure for couples: there is a 200-year-old church on the grounds, and the lush gardens are a lovely backdrop for any celebration. The historic hotel is well aware of its romantic potential, so they’ve put together the Simply Us package that offers the happy couple everything they need for the wedding of their (her) dreams.

Location is Key for The Mount Nevis Hotel

Of course, the biggest attraction of The Mount Nevis Hotel is its location. No matter if your client is a family of four, a group of friends or a couple looking for a romantic getaway, Nevis offers something for everyone—including a volcano. This 3,232-foot mountain is the highest point on the island and a super fun hike for anyone looking for adventure. Hills & Valleys Hike and Tours can help you set your clients up for a very scenic day of exploration and wildlife viewing. Biking tours are another fun way to check out what Nevis has to offer on land, while the surrounding waters are ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving thanks to the dozens of reefs, sunken ships and volcanic vents right offshore.
