Virtuoso has announced two key leadership appointments as part of its evolved executive structure aimed at supporting continued global growth.

Driving Virtuoso’s Next Phase of Global Expansion

Brad Bourland, who has served as Virtuoso’s Chief Operating Officer since 2020, has been promoted to President, while industry veteran Tristan Dowell joins the network as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

In his new role as President, Bourland will guide the organization’s long-term vision, aligning teams and resources to create and capitalize on opportunities while leading Virtuoso’s newly established C-suite leadership team. He will continue to serve as acting COO until a successor is named, maintaining oversight of strategic communications, global events, technology and more.

Industry veteran Tristan Dowell joins Virtuoso as CCO.

Tristan Dowell joins Virtuoso with 23 years of experience at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, including leadership positions such as Global Brand Director for Park Hyatt and Andaz, and most recently Global VP—Luxury, Lifestyle & Leisure Sales. In these roles, Dowell led strategy, brand development and luxury market initiatives worldwide.

As CCO, Dowell will oversee Virtuoso’s commercial strategy, including global marketing, memberships, partnerships, products and more. His role is designed to drive business growth and strengthen value delivery across the network.

“I’m excited by what’s ahead as Brad steps into the role of President, bringing strong leadership to guide our next phase of growth. Tristan has been a long-time supporter of Virtuoso and our members. His perspective as a former partner will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen how we deliver value across the network,” said Matthew D. Upchurch, Chairman and CEO of Virtuoso, in a media statement.
