Stay and Explore Collection Reduces Hotel Changes in Europe

Railbookers has launched its Stay and Explore Collection, a series of European itineraries designed to eliminate the stress of constant hotel changes. The collection features 10 trips centered on extended stays in a single hub city, with day excursions by train to nearby destinations.

“We developed the Stay and Explore Collection in response to guest feedback and demand—for travelers seeking a diverse array of experiences while returning to the comfort and convenience of the same hotel each night,” said Andrew Channell, Senior Vice President of Product, Railbookers Group, in a press statement. “These trips feature expertly selected daytime experiences and allow our guests to immerse themselves in the culture of iconic European cities by night.”

The program addresses a common pain point for clients who want depth over breadth in their European travels. Rather than moving hotels every night or two, guests settle into one location for at least 2 nights and use it as a base for regional exploration.

Hub cities at launch include London, Edinburgh, Inverness, Paris, Lyon, Avignon, Reims, Munich, Rome, Florence, Venice and Zurich. Each location offers access to surrounding areas via short train journeys, allowing guests to experience smaller towns and cities that often fall outside standard tour routes.

Day trips incorporate a range of experiences. Guests can visit palaces and castles, participate in culinary tours and wine tastings, explore ancient ruins and historic architecture, or discover smaller communities that offer authentic local culture. The train-based model means clients avoid the logistics of renting cars or navigating unfamiliar roads while still accessing destinations beyond major cities.

All itineraries in the Stay and Explore Collection can be customized. Clients can add extra nights, include additional activities, or extend their trip to other destinations. The trips can also be combined with other Railbookers journeys for those wanting a longer European experience.

The collection targets clients who value comfort and convenience alongside cultural immersion. By reducing the number of hotel check-ins and eliminating the need to pack and unpack repeatedly, the program appeals to clients who want a more relaxed pace without sacrificing variety in their itinerary.
