Southwest Airlines is strengthening its international connectivity with a newly announced partnership with Condor, the German carrier with an extensive network of nearly 70 destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas.

Beginning Jan. 19, 2026, travelers can book same-ticket itineraries that link Condor’s long-haul service from Frankfurt with Southwest’s domestic network across six U.S. gateways: Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle.

“Adding Condor to our portfolio of partners brings transatlantic journeys between dozens of airports in the U.S. and exciting and aspirational places Condor serves,” said Andrew Watterson, Southwest Airlines Chief Operating Officer, in a media statement. “In Las Vegas alone, we can connect international travelers with the power of our network, offering them more than 270 departures a day and nonstop flights to more than 70 cities. Our airline partnerships showcase the warmth of our people, our operational reliability and the increasing choice in travel experiences that Southwest now can offer to potential Customers around the world.”

Connecting with Condor

The partnership opens new opportunities for seamless transatlantic bookings, offering improved through-ticketing, coordinated schedules and more one-stop access to major European and global destinations via Condor’s Frankfurt hub. The itineraries are now available to book through Condor, travel agencies and online travel platforms.

“With the expansion of Condor’s partner network in North America, travelers benefit from a wider range of seamless and convenient travel options,” said Mikko Turtiainen, Condor Director Sales, the Americas, in a media statement. “The collaboration with Southwest Airlines enhances Condor’s transatlantic connectivity and provides our customers with an extended route network.”

With the addition of Condor, Southwest now partners with five international carriers, expanding its reach into key regions throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The move comes as Southwest prepares for a series of customer-facing enhancements in 2026, including a redesigned cabin and the introduction of assigned seating and extra-legroom options on flights starting Jan. 27.
