Seabourn is partnering with The Atlantic on a three-year collaboration that will bring curated editorial programming, moderated discussions and cultural experiences to select voyages.
The partnership will debut with a series of events across select voyages, culminating in a full itinerary takeover in 2028 during Seabourn’s 40th anniversary year. The featured sailing, a 12-day voyage from Montreal to Boston aboard Seabourn Quest, will showcase programming inspired by The Atlantic Festival and its focus on dialogue, ideas and cultural exchange.
“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Seabourn to bring The Atlantic and the experience of our live events to their voyages,” said Alice McKown, The Atlantic’s Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer, in a media statement. “Storytelling and connection define our work, and this allows us to develop one-of-a-kind events in intimate settings for Seabourn’s guests.”
Enrichment-Focused Programming
As part of the collaboration, The Atlantic will curate onboard experiences led by its writers and contributors, covering topics such as culture, business, science, health and technology. Programming will include moderated discussions and thematic events designed to engage guests. The partnership marks the first time both brands have collaborated in this format.
Beyond featured sailings, The Atlantic will contribute to Seabourn’s onboard experience fleetwide through curated libraries that include magazine issues and books by current and historical writers. Guests sailing on itineraries featuring Atlantic programming will also receive complimentary digital access during their voyage, along with a three-month subscription following their cruise.
Additional voyages featuring The Atlantic are planned for 2027, with details to be announced.
