Rosewood Amsterdam Now Taking Reservations

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is bringing its signature luxury to the heart of the Netherlands with the debut of Rosewood Amsterdam, now accepting reservations for stays beginning June 1.

Located within the city’s former Palace of Justice, built in 1665, the hotel is situated in Amsterdam’s UNESCO-listed Canal District and completed a near-decade-long restoration that now features 134 guestrooms and suites, including five distinctive signature suites.

Dutch Heritage Meets Modern Luxury

Many accommodations feature views of the city’s canals and courtyards. Designed by renowned Studio Piet Boon, the interiors honor the building’s heritage with a contemporary take on Dutch craftsmanship. The hotel offers three dining venues and bars, including an in-house distillery, rooted in the Dutch concept of gezelligheida—a “welcoming and cozy atmosphere.”

“Our mission is to craft an experience where Amsterdam’s rich history and culture intertwine with Rosewood’s distinctive lifestyle,” said Thomas Harlander, Managing Director of Rosewood Amsterdam, in a press statement. By honoring the architectural legacy of the former Palace of Justice and creating thoughtfully designed spaces, we are not only restoring a cherished landmark for the people of Amsterdam but also inviting guests to immerse themselves in the heart of this vibrant city. It’s a celebration of heritage, innovation and meaningful connections.”

The hotel features a spa, fitness center and indoor pool, and guests can also explore the iconic canals aboard the hotel’s private Salon Boat, styled by Studio Piet Boon.
