Oceania Cruises is eliminating Non-Commissionable Cruise Fares (NCFs) on all newly launched sailings, a move designed to increase commission opportunities for travel advisors across the luxury cruise line’s future deployments.
The policy change will apply to newly released itineraries, including the line’s 2028 summer season, 2028-2029 winter sailings and its 2028 and 2029 Around the World voyages. Under the updated structure, published commission rates will now apply to the full commissionable cruise fare, allowing advisors to earn higher commissions without impacting guest pricing.
The enhanced commission structure will take effect as new itineraries open for sale throughout May and June 2026.
Oceania Fleet Expansion
The announcement comes as the luxury cruise line prepares for its next phase of growth with the debut of Oceania Aurelia, a newly reimagined vessel scheduled to launch in late 2027.
Currently sailing as Oceania Nautica, the ship will undergo a transformation as part of the brand’s OceaniaNEXT program and will operate the company’s 2028 and 2029 Around the World voyages, along with a series of extended Grand Voyages.
Designed for immersive global exploration, Oceania Aurelia will accommodate fewer than 500 guests with a staff of 400 officers and crew. The vessel will feature 238 accommodations, including 179 suites with butler service, many exceeding 300 square feet.
Culinary and Enrichment Experiences Expanded
The ship will also introduce updated dining and enrichment concepts aimed at long-duration travel. Culinary venues will include The Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Toscana, Terrace Cafe and Waves Grill, while new additions such as a bakery, creperie and Founders Bar will expand onboard offerings.
Additional enrichment experiences will include a new Chef’s Studio, Artist Loft, LYNC Digital Center, guest speaker programming and complimentary access to the Aquamar Spa Terrace for all guests.
