Set to debut in August 2027, the 1,390-guest vessel will sail its first season in Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and South America, with bookings opening Jan. 28, 2026.
Sailing the World: the New Oceania Sonata
The inaugural season includes 22 voyages ranging from seven to 16 days, visiting more than 90 destinations between August 2027 and April 2028.
Oceania Sonata’s maiden voyage departs Rome on Aug. 7, 2027, sailing a 14-day Mediterranean journey to Trieste. Highlights include calls in Catania, Valletta, Katakolon, Bar and Zadar, blending iconic ports with lesser-visited destinations.

Oceania Sonata will cross the Atlantic to Miami, launching her inaugural Caribbean season. Itineraries feature Barbados and Tortola, as well as destinations including Puerto Quetzal, Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa and a daylight transit of the Panama Canal.
