Norwegian Cruise Line has welcomed its newest ship, Norwegian Aqua, to her new homeport of Miami, marking the start of her inaugural Caribbean season. Following her debut season sailing to Bermuda from New York City, Norwegian Aqua will now operate a variety of Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries through April 2026.
Sailings from PortMiami
The ship will sail 7-day Caribbean voyages from Miami, visiting Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay—which is currently undergoing a major enhancement. By late 2025, the private island will debut a new pier, a 28,000-square-foot heated pool with swim-up bars and a kids’ splash zone. In 2026, the new Great Tides Waterpark, a nearly six-acre attraction, will further expand the guest experience.
Norwegian Aqua, the third vessel in the Prima Class, offers 10 percent more space and capacity than her sister ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva. New onboard features include:
- Aqua Slidecoaster: A hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide, spanning three decks.
- Glow Court: An LED sports and entertainment venue that transforms into a nightclub at night.
- Aqua Game Zone: An interactive arcade and VR space featuring classics like Ms. Pac-Man and Duck Pin Bowling.
- The Stadium outdoor activity complex and The Drop, a 10-story dry slide.
The ship also features the Vibe Beach Club, the Mandara Spa and Salon and an expanded pool deck with ocean-view daybeds. There are 17 dining venues and 18 bars and lounges, plus new entertainment experiences such as Revolution: A Celebration of Prince, Elements: The World Expanded and interactive shows like The Price is Right LIVE.
Your clients may decide to choose NCL’s Free at Sea value-added program, which includes perks like an open bar with premium brands, specialty dining credits, Wi-Fi and shore excursion discounts. Current offers include free airfare for the second guest, kids sail free, and 70 percent off the second guest on select sailings.
Norwegian Aqua will return to Miami for another Caribbean season from October 2026 through April 2027, featuring both Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries with continued visits to Great Stirrup Cay.
