Hard Rock International is continuing its European expansion with its latest venture into the Czech Republic with the development of Hard Rock Hotel Prague, set to open in 2023.
This new property joins an array of other European openings in 2020, including Hard Rock Hotel Dublin and Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam.
The new Prague property will include 523 rooms and suites with views overlooking Letna Park and the Prague Castle from the hotel’s rooftop Sky Bar. Also on tap is a specialty restaurant, with terraces overlooking the Vltava river valley, along with all-day dining at Sessions, and Constant Grind Coffee & Bar, which will serve coffee and light bites during the day and transform into a cocktail bar at night.
Brand-signature highlights, such as carefully curated music memorabilia, a full-service Rock Spa, a Body Rock Fitness Centre, Rock Shop, and the Rock Star Suite will also be highlights. In-room programs will include its music-infused yoga program Rock Om and The Sound of Your Stay.
Views of the hotel’s 3-story “Feature Wall,” a 5,900 sq.-ft. soundwave of moving light will be featured in the lobby, and the hotel’s corridors will be laden with carefully curated music memorabilia.
“Prague is a striking favorite among European capital cities and has experienced great development in its tourism industry in recent years. Hard Rock is honored to announce the arrival of its music-infused presence to this beautiful city following two years of work on the project,” said Todd Hricko, senior v.p. and head of global hotel business development, in a statement.
Hard Rock Hotel Prague will be located a short walk from the historic Old Town of Prague, as well as the Generali Arena, home of Sparta Prague Football Club. A Hard Rock Sports Bar adorned with sporting memorabilia in connection with the football club will sit adjacent to the hotel.
