Goway’s GowayPro Travel Academy has reached a significant milestone in professional travel education. The program has enrolled 7,000 travel professionals and offers 600 training modules.
“Adversity often leads to new opportunities,” said Don Forster, Goway’s Trade Training and Engagement Manager, in a press statement. “The GowayPro Travel Academy was born from the COVID-19 pandemic with the realization that both Goway’s Destination Specialists and our travel trade partners would need refresher training to return to the new normal of travel. It was also clear that many new agents were joining the industry as we emerged from imposed isolation and that training would be vital for them to get up to speed. From that, I’m proud that the GowayPro Travel Academy has grown to over 7,000 students, with more joining daily and seeing the value in ongoing education from a company that has focused on internal and external training for almost 55 years.”
