Goway has expanded its Road Trips product line, adding more than 80 self-drive itineraries across 23 countries. Each trip combines car rental, accommodation and suggested touring, while allowing your clients to modify details to suit their preferences. The itineraries focus on discovery at a traveler’s own pace across a range of landscapes, cultures and experiences.

New Adventures from Goway

Among the newest options, the Lord of the Rings Road Trip: Explore Middle-earth is a 14-day journey through New Zealand that connects travelers with filming locations from the movies. Stops include Matamata’s Hobbiton Movie Set, Tongariro National Park, and Wellington, where guests see the Weta Workshop. The itinerary also includes the geothermal attractions of Rotorua and the lakeside city of Queenstown.

In the United States, the 9-day Utah’s Mighty Five & the Grand Canyon Road Trip explores Arches, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Monument Valley, Zion and the Grand Canyon. Travelers can hike canyons, drive scenic routes through red rock formations and stay in properties near national parks.

The 11-day Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip covers Ireland’s 1,550-mile coastal route, from County Donegal to County Cork. The itinerary includes the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara National Park and the Dingle Peninsula, mixing coastal scenery with time in Galway and Killarney.

In Japan, the 15-day Japan Road Trip: Kyushu Edition focuses on the island’s culture and landscapes. Stops include the hot springs of Beppu, the castle town of Kumamoto and Mount Aso, one of the world’s largest volcanic calderas. The itinerary also visits Nagasaki and its Peace Park.

The 13-day Namibia Family Road Trip: Safari, Coast & Desert travels from Windhoek through Etosha National Park, the Skeleton Coast and Sossusvlei. The route includes wildlife-viewing opportunities and visits to desert dunes that rise more than 1,000 feet.
