Certified bookworms shouldn’t miss Seabourn’s new Authors at Sea program with its star-studded lineup of literary luminaries—best-selling authors, historians and biographers—joining guests on select sailings between March and Dec. 2025.
Authors at Sea is part of the line’s popular Seabourn Conversations, offering guests an enriching entertainment program. The authors will also engage with guests, sharing meals, adventures ashore and casual chats throughout the voyage.

Among the featured authors, Debbie Macomber, the beloved New York Times best-selling author, will share insights into her novels, which have spent over 1,000 weeks on the bestseller list. Macomber will host a writing workshop for aspiring authors during her April 27 – May 16, 2025 sailing from Yokohama to Vancouver aboard Seabourn Quest.
Former model and novelist Lady Sandra Howard will bring her storytelling expertise to the May 10-18, 2025 voyage through the Western Mediterranean. Meanwhile, best-selling author Lord Jeffrey Archer, known for his gripping novels and political background, will sail from July 1-11, 2025.
FBI art crime expert Robert K. Wittman will captivate guests on multiple sailings, including an Iberian Coast & Bordeaux cruise (May 17-30, 2025) and a Tyrrhenian Treasures & Malta itinerary (Aug. 30 – Sept. 9, 2025). Meanwhile, celebrated crime writer Ann Cleeves, OBE, creator of Vera and Shetland, will host immersive crime-writing workshops and an interactive murder mystery event on select sailings, including an Australia & New Zealand Holiday voyage (Dec. 20, 2025 – Jan. 4, 2026).
Finally, Zelda La Grange, former aide to Nelson Mandela and an inspiring speaker, will share her profound experiences on a 14-day Atlantic Crossing (April 27 – May 9, 2026) aboard Seabourn Quest.
