For inter-island hopping, Bequia Beach Hotel has debuted Bequia Air, a VIP transfer service operated by Bohlke International Airways (BIA). Starting Dec. 12, VIPs will have access to a direct transfer from Barbados to the hotel via a 9-seat Beechcraft King Air B200. The cost is $649 per person, roundtrip, or $399 one-way and includes meet-and-greet service in Barbados and ground transfers in Bequia.

Bequia Beach Hotel was created by owner Bengt Mortstedt and it mixes vintage style with modern day chic without being pretentious, nor stuffy. The hotel features 57 rooms, a spa, two outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, fitness center, and two restaurants.

Bequia, the second-largest island in the Grenadines and part of the British Commonwealth, is a gem in the Caribbean. It offers a unique charm that is hard to find anywhere else in the Caribbean. The island’s enduring seafaring heritage is one of its most striking features as is its sandy beaches, lush green hillsides, and little villages. The island is tailor-made for sailing enthusiasts, beach lovers and honeymooners. Island highlights include its famed Easter Regatta, the Bequia Carnival, the Bequia Music Fest, and Fisherman’s Day.
