Azamara Cruises is expanding its onboard entertainment programming with the debut of new original stage productions aboard the Azamara Journey, as part of an ongoing partnership with RWS Global that began in 2017.
The new productions mark the second phase of Azamara’s entertainment initiative, following an earlier rollout aboard Azamara Pursuit. The cruise line said the updated programming is designed to deliver more immersive, high-energy performances that combine live music, theatrical storytelling, cinematic visuals and contemporary choreography.
Two new productions are now featured aboard Azamara Journey.
New Productions Elevate Azamara’s Cruise Experience
“Rendezvous in Paris” brings a Parisian cabaret-inspired experience to the stage, featuring couture-style costumes, audience interaction and music inspired by French classics and Moulin Rouge-style performances. Meanwhile, “Cinemaphonic” follows four aspiring performers as they navigate the entertainment industry in a musical revue that blends classic Hollywood influences with contemporary pop music.
Additional productions will debut fleetwide over the next year, including “Written in the Stars,” a theatrical production centered around celestial storytelling and romance, and “Vinyl Records: The Studio Sessions,” a music-driven performance inspired by vintage recording studios.
The rollout will continue aboard Azamara Quest beginning Nov. 26, 2026, followed by Azamara Onward on April 13, 2027.
