ALG Vacations (ALGV) will host a special Pro Power Hour webinar in partnership with the Jamaica Tourist Board to provide verified updates and operational guidance following Hurricane Melissa. The session, set for Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at 1 p.m. CT, will outline the latest developments in Jamaica’s recovery and outline resources available to support clients with active bookings.
Anderson Hernandez, senior vice president of Global Care Centers & Operations at ALG Vacations, will lead the session. He will review the company’s current initiatives, including flexible policies, traveler assistance programs and available support tools designed to manage disruptions to existing and future reservations. The presentation will also include insights from the Jamaica Tourist Board. Philip Rose, deputy director of tourism, and Francine Carter Henry, manager of tour operators and airlines, will cover destination-specific updates and provide an update on the current status of transportation, accommodations and tourism infrastructure across affected areas.
