Travelers headed on an UnCruise Adventures itinerary next year can look forward to exploring new destinations in Latin America with the addition of Belize, Guatemala, and Colombia to select adventure cruise routes.

In October 2020, the 66-guest Safari Voyager will sail three departures on a new weeklong Colombia & Panama–Coral, Jungles, Canal itinerary between Cartagena, Colombia and Panama City, Panama (or reverse). Guests will experience transiting the Panama Canal; meet native Guna and Embera peoples; and visit two UNESCO World Heritage sites—the Darien Jungle and the colonial walled city of Cartagena. The sailing will also take guests to explore the Pearl Islands, Isla Taboga, Capurgana, Sapzurro and the Archipelago of San Bernardo. Rates begin at $4,895 pp dbl.

Following these Colombia and Panama itineraries, the Safari Voyager will embark on six sailings of a new weeklong adventure cruise exploring the beaches and jungles of Belize and Guatemala, with departures scheduled for October through December 2020. Guests will snorkel Belize’s barrier reef, search for marine life, venture up the Monkey River and explore Mayan historical sites. While more details will be released later this year, rates begin at $4,445 pp dbl.

“Coral reefs, tropical islands, historical sites and jungles to explore—that’s what’s drawing us to Belize, Guatemala and Colombia,” said UnCruise Adventures CEO Dan Blanchard in press materials. “Developing new destinations is important for our returning guests who fall in love with the UnCruise spirit of friendship and adventure.”

The line’s 2020 schedule of small ship cruises is open for booking with nine ships sailing in Alaska, Columbia and Snake rivers, coastal Washington, Mexico, Hawaii, Galapagos, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Belize and Guatemala. Also new for 2020, travelers looking for an Alaska adventure can take advantage of an early bird savings offer of up to $1,200 per couple when booked by Dec. 13, 2019.  In Hawaii, a transition to year-round operations in the islands adds additional summer departures.
