After much anticipation, Walt Disney World’s EPCOT is gearing up to relaunch one of its most iconic attractions—Test Track, presented by General Motors—on July 22, 2025. The reimagined experience will spotlight the future of mobility with a fresh musical score and cutting-edge scenes designed by Disney Imagineers.
Need for Speed at EPCOT
Among the exciting new features: a dynamic visual sequence that allows guests to “see” the road through the eyes of a vehicle, made possible by advanced cameras, sensors and a display of over 29,000 points of light.
Special preview opportunities will be available ahead of the official reopening for select groups, including Disney Cast Members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents, and Club 33 Members.
While Test Track continues to celebrate the innovation behind automotive technology, the attraction also highlights the joy of road trips and shared adventures, reminding visitors of the magic found in family, friends and the open road.
Disneyland Celebrations
Disneyland Resort kicked off its 70th anniversary with festivities continuing through summer 2026, honoring seven decades since Walt Disney opened the original park.
The celebration features a slew of new entertainment options. The “Paint the Night” parade returns to Disneyland Park with over a million LED lights, while Disney California Adventure Park debuts “World of Color Happiness!”—a new water show featuring music by Boyz II Men and FITZ from Fitz and the Tantrums. “Wondrous Journeys” returns to Disneyland Park with projection effects and fireworks on select nights.
Beyond the anniversary festivities, your clients can experience recently opened attractions, including Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the new “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” that premiered in May. On July 17, 2025—the exact 70th anniversary—Disneyland Park will unveil “Walt Disney—A Magical Life,” featuring an Audio-Animatronics presentation of Walt in his office, plus a gallery documenting the park’s history.
