Un-Cruise Adventures’ 2016 Columbia and Snake River cruise itineraries explore the Pacific Northwest’s rich history and wine culture on 7-night sailings aboard the 88-passenger S.S. Legacy. On the Legacy of Discovery cruise, starting at $3,395 pp dbl, guests journey along the Columbia, Snake, and Willamette rivers to take a deeper look into the area’s history through expert-led tours and presentations by onboard heritage guides. Shore excursions include a jet boat ride into Hells Canyon; a private tour, tasting, and lunch at Terra Blanca Winery and Estates Vineyard in Benton City, Washington; and a visit to the Multnomah Falls in Oregon. This year, Un-Cruise Adventures introduced a new tour to the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center in Richland, Washington, featuring exhibits on the Manhattan Project, and the history and ecology of the area.

Meanwhile, the Ameritage! Four Rivers of Wine & History cruise features tours and excursions highlighting the wine-rich region of the Northwestern United States with visits to nine wineries. In addition to the winery tours and tasting, guests on this weeklong exploration along the Willamette, Columbia, Snake and Palouse rivers visit Cannon Beach, Palouse Falls canyon and the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. As a bonus, wine experts will be on board to lead wine tastings and presentations.
