Tauck is launching its new tour, the 10-day Hudson Valley, which begins in Montreal, Canada, and then travels south to explore some of New York’s most iconic lakes, its scenic Adirondack Mountains, and its historic and culturally rich Hudson Valley.

Tauck guests will begin their journey with a guided sightseeing tour and overnight stay in Montreal, before heading south and crossing the U.S.-Canadian border into New York. Highlights include visits to Lake Placid and the U.S. Olympic Training Center, Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondack Mountains (with a visit to the renowned Adirondack Museum) and Lake George, where guests will enjoy an overnight stay at a classic Adirondack-style resort overlooking the lake.
In Hudson Valley, guests will visit the popular Gigi Market, known for its local produce and gourmet foods, and meet with a farmer at the forefront of the sustainable farming movement. They’ll also visit the lifelong home of Franklin D. Roosevelt at Hyde Park, spend time in the quaint village of Rhinebeck, and tour stately Boscobel Mansion and the venerable U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

The itinerary concludes with a 2-night hotel stay in New York City, where Tauck guests will enjoy a guided city tour, views from the “Top of the Rock” high above Rockefeller Center, and a poignant discussion on the events of 9/11 and its aftermath with a NYPD detective.

Tauck guests traveling on this itinerary will also be treated to several of Tauck’s “Stories by Ken Burns” video narratives that will provide the acclaimed filmmaker’s perspectives on the history and culture of the areas included in the new itinerary.

Departures are June to October, with rates from $4,490 pp dbl, land-only, and including all sightseeing, admission to all attractions, airport transfers, luggage handling, most meals and gratuities.
