The Knickerbocker Hotel’s New Year’s celebration packages offer guests special VIP experiences and the opportunity to watch the historic Times Square Ball drop above the crowded Manhattan streets in New York. Groups of 12 to 20 guests can watch the New Year’s festivities take place from one of three private Skypods at the hotel’s St. Cloud rooftop bar overlooking Times Square, 42nd Street ($65,000) and Broadway ($45,000). Larger groups of up to 22 guests can reserve the Waterford Crystal Lounge ($55,000) at St. Cloud, a private lounge space with a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that accesses the rooftop bar. Both the Skypod and Waterford Crystal Lounge packages include three-nights in a Signature Suite Dec. 29, 2015 to Jan. 1, 2016 or from Dec. 30, 2015 to Jan. 2, 2016; dinner and dancing at the onsite Charlie Palmer at The Knick restaurant overlooking Times Square, where a 1920s-themed black-tie gala and dinner will be held on Dec. 31; a private rooftop reception after dinner in a Skypod on the St. Cloud rooftop bar to view the Ball Drop; daily breakfast at the Charlie Palmer at The Knick restaurant; and a lavish New Year’s Day brunch. Guests without a reserved Skypod can still view all of the excitement from the rooftop with a standard package, starting at $2,890 per night. The Stay and Celebrate in ‘Suite’ Style package, starting at $2,890 per night dbl, includes accommodations in a guestroom or suite and entrance to the New Year’s Eve Private Gala and a New Year’s Day Brunch. On New Year’s Day, guests can sign up for group cardio, boot camp and yoga classes at The Knickerbocker’s fitness center.
