Hotel G opens in San Francisco this Friday after a 2-year renovation of an early-20th century building.

Located in the center of San Francisco’s fashionable Union Square, the property is within walking distance of shopping, dining, theaters, an active arts district, and the city’s historic cable car. The hotel was originally built in 1908 as The Fielding Hotel, and today, the property  remains true to its historic design restoring many of the original features. Guests will find fog-colored walls, wood finishes, earth-tone fabrics and textiles with clean lines, as well as pops of color. Guestrooms features flat-screen TVs, docking stations, and Nespresso coffee makers, as well as complimentary WiFi; a Technogym will open this summer.

Hotel G partnered with San Francisco-based Creativity Explored, a nonprofit arts center for developmentally disabled adults to curate, showcase and sell artwork. The artwork displayed in guest rooms is available for sale with proceeds going directly to the artist. Rates start at $299 per night. For more information, call (877) 828-4478 or visit hotelgsanfrancisco.com.
