As the Epicurean hotel prepares to open its doors on Dec. 18, the property plans on making a splash during its grand opening weekend in January with two grand opening packages.
From Jan. 17-19, 2014, the new hotel in Tampa will be hosting its grand opening celebration, featuring the hotel’s executive chef Chad Johnson, wine tastings, culinary classes and parties. The Connoisseurs of Life package includes accommodations for Friday and Saturday night; a private welcome reception with chef and author Norman Van Aken; a Friday evening Grand Awakening reception showcasing the hotel; a Saturday evening 6-course winemakers dinner featuring chef Johnson; choice of Elevage brunches inspired by champagne and bloody Marys; a selection of three activities, including wine and culinary; and classes with industry experts and celebrities. The package is $2,000 for two people.
The Grand Awakening package, meanwhile, is $1,000 for two people and includes accommodations for Friday and Saturday; the Grand Awakening reception; a Saturday evening 4-course dinner with wine at Elevage; and priority reservations for culinary and wine classes.
The 137-room boutique hotel features a culinary classroom, called the Epicurean Theatre; the signature Elevage restaurant; the Edge Social Drinkery rooftop bar; Chocolate Pi patisserie; Bern’s Fine Wines & Spirits wine shop; and the full-service Spa Evangeline.
