Austin Adventures is expanding its 4th Graders Go Free travel program into Canada for its 2016 season. In a show of support for The National Park Foundation and the White House’s launch of the Every Kid in the Park initiative, whereby fourth graders receive free access to U.S. National Parks throughout the 2015-2016 school year, Austin Adventures has launched its own 4th Graders Go Free travel program and is waiving trip fees for all fourth graders traveling on any National Park adventure with them this year.

To enhance the program, Austin Adventures has added two family-focused vacations in Canada, the 6-day Alberta Family/Banff to Jasper itinerary and the 6-day British Columbia Family/Whistler itinerary to its roster of 11 U.S. National Park adventures. The Alberta Family/Banff to Jasper itinerary, starting at $2,898 per adult dbl and $2,318 for children who are not in the fourth grade, features a glacier-trek, alpine hiking, mountain biking and whitewater rafting through the Wild Rose Country wilderness in the Canadian Rockies. After their adventures, guests can relax in their comfy accommodations, including Baker Creek Chalet and the Banff Royal Canadian Lodge.

Meanwhile, the British Columbia Family/Whistler itinerary, starting at $2,798 per adult dbl and $2,238 for children who are not in the fourth grade, sees guests hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and horseback riding in Whistler. The highlight of your client’s trip is sure to be the gondola ride and hike to the summit of Whistler Mountain, where 360-degree views of the alpine paradise are on full display. Accommodations are provided at the Legends Lodge in Whistler’s ski village. Rates include all meals, first aid certified professional guides, land transportation, and an Austin Adventures T-shirt, luggage tags and luggage service.
