If your clients would prefer a sunny island getaway closer to home, then a trip to the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa for its New Year’s Eve celebrations may do the trick. This year, the recently renovated resort is inviting travelers to join in on a variety of holiday activities from gingerbread man decorating and face painting to photo ops with Santa. The main events of the holiday season will culminate on Dec. 31 when the Westin Grand Cayman will host a New Year’s Evening Dinner and a New Year’s Eve Party at the Beach. The gourmet gala dinner will include a glass of Taittinger Champagne and a multi-course menu featuring selections such as butter poached american lobster and oysters prepared three ways, plus a dessert tasting plate. Guests welcoming the new year will be treated to live-action food stations, unlimited Marquis de la Tour sparkling wine and soft drinks, live music during dinner, a fireworks display at midnight, and dancing to the Big Band until 1 a.m. Families traveling together for the holiday can also celebrate with the children at a family-friendly event hosted by the Kids Club at 5 p.m.

Pricing for the dinner gala starts at $151 pp or $192 pp with a wine pairing. Entry for the beach party costs $192 pp or $270 pp with open bar; an additional $30 will be charged for children under 12 attending the beach party.
