On The Go Tours announced two new tours for 2018, which take travelers to exotic locales where they’ll get to experience the scenic Solovetsky Islands in Russia in June and the Germinid Meteor shower in Morocco in December. In addition, On The Go Tours has changed its World Wonders Tours, which explores the Seven New Wonders of the World, into a signature tour with a scheduled departure date for Oct. 3, 2018.
The 10-day St. Petes, Slovki & Moscow itinerary, starting at $4,455 pp dbl, takes guests to St. Petersburg and Moscow where they’ll discover the remote and scenic Solovetsky Islands. Travelers will also visit the Solovki monastery, one of the Soviet Union’s most infamous Gulags; explore Bolshoy Zayatsky island featuring mythical labyrinths; and spot Beluga whales and Beluga cape. This journey is scheduled to depart on June. 9, 2018.
Departing on Dec. 10, 2018 is the 9-day Morocco Meteor Shower itinerary, which will have guests gazing up at the night sky to witness the Germinid Meteor shower as it peaks over the Moroccan desert. The tour will start off in Marrakech as guests travel to Ait Benhaddou and Ourrzazate, and then take a camel trek into the Sahara. In addition, guests will visit the Imperial Cities of Fire, Rabat, and Meekness. Rates start at $1,385 pp dbl.
Finally, the revamped 31-day World Wonders Tour, starting at $11,696 pp dbl, will have guests checking off the Seven New Wonders of the World during their journey. Guests can expect to visit Rome’s Colosseum, the Rose City of Petra, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of china, Chichen Itza, Machu Picchu, and Christ the Redeemer in Rio, as well as the Pyramids of Giza, the sole-surviving ancient wonder. This journey is scheduled to depart on Oct. 3, 2018. This trip was previously only offered as an independent journey with custom travel dates.
