LEGOLAND Florida Resort has unveiled details of three new ride experiences set to debut inside THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD.
Opening early spring 2019, THE LEGOMOVIE WORLD, created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, will feature three family-friendly attractions inspired by the characters and themes of “THE LEGO MOVIE” and “THE LEGO MOVIE 2: The Second Part.” These rides include THE LEGO MOVIE Masters of Flight, Unikitty’s Disco Drop, and Battle of Bricksburg.
“THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD at LEGOLAND Florida Resort is the only place in the world that you can experience the pure wonder and imagination inspired by ‘THE LEGO MOVIE’ universe,” said Rex Jackson, general manager of LEGOLAND Florida Resort, in press materials. “We’ve been hard at work, building brick-by-brick, to create state-of-the-art experiences that bring ‘THE LEGO MOVIE’ to life.”
On the Masters of Flight ride, guests will hop aboard Emmet’s Triple Decker Flying Couch for a suspended ride inside a theater with a full-dome virtual screen that leaves guests feeling like they’re flying. On Unikitty’s Disco Drop, guests will enter through the rainbow portal before the ride swoops them up to the top of Cloud Cuckoo Land, then drops, spins and bounces them back to earth. The Battle of Bricksburg attraction enlists riders to help stop DUPLO aliens from invading the city and stealing LEGO bricks by spraying water at targets.
Park-goers can finish off the day with a visit to downtown Bricksburg, where they’ll find Emmet’s Super Suite, a character meet-and-greet experience allowing guests to hang out with Emmet and all of his friends inside his apartment, at the TacoEveryday eatery, and at The Awesome Shop. The downtown area will also include a space-themed playground structure inspired by Benny’s spaceship, plus special photo opportunities.
