Melissa Bryant (MB): How does live entertainment enhance guests’ resort experience?

Frank Corzo (FC): Live entertainment isn’t a necessary component to every all-inclusive stay, however, Palace Resorts is in the business of creating unforgettable experiences. Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort has set the stage for leading artists including Shakira, Usher, Ricky Martin, Chicago, Broadway on Ice, The Illusionists, The Beach Boys, Shaggy, Michael Bolton and Toto. The same spirit resonates at our newest property, Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, whether it’s having an incredible DJ at the ultra-chic nightclub Noir or having top-notch artists. This year alone we’ve had “Cheerleader” singer OMI, Mr. Bombastic himself, Shaggy, and reggae-pop super group MAGIC!.

MB: What performers/groups are on Palace Resorts’ entertainment line-up for the remainder of 2016?

FC: Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort is hosting rock band The Cranberries later this summer on Friday, Aug. 26 and Saturday, Aug. 27. Later in the year, the AAA four-diamond property will host performances by two unforgettable icons—Grammy-winning funk group Kool & The Gang and legendary “I Will Survive” singer Gloria Gaynor on Nov. 18 and 19, 2016. The following month for the holiday season, Moon Palace Arena will transform into a visual spectacle when Cirque Eloize embarks on a limited engagement residency from Dec. 22, 2016 through Jan. 3, 2017.

Palace Resorts will be announcing additional performers and entertainment offerings throughout the year. Stay tuned for some exciting news.

MB: Are these performances included in the resort’s all-inclusive rates, or is there an additional fee to attend them?

FC: Guests are privy to a number of entertainment offerings as part of the all-inclusive concept. No one else in the all-inclusive segment is offering the level of entertainment that Palace Resorts provides guests. Guests who book a stay of five nights or more receive the most valuable vacation promotion on record, a $1,500 resort credit, which can be used on spa and beauty salon treatments, romantic dinners, offsite excursions and tours, plus much more. Guests staying at Moon Palace Jamaica Grande and Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort guests can use their resort credits for tickets to our star-studded concerts.

MB: How can agents use Palace Resorts’ entertainment offerings to close a sale?
