The different landscapes that steal your breath away are the first thing we’ll show you of Mexico, but everything else—its historical legacies, tomorrow-ready indulgences and the warmest of people—we’ll leave for you to discover. Now, more than ever, Delta makes it simple to enjoy the beauty and riches of this bountiful country.

Last year, Delta celebrated 25 years of uninterrupted service in Mexico and year-over-year growth in that market, reinforcing the country’s position as one of the pillars in the carrier’s expansion in Latin America. Moreover, Delta also invested $65 million in Grupo Aeromexico, also a founding member of the SkyTeam global alliance. This created the leading airline alliance in the Mexico-U.S. market and marked the first time a global carrier bought equity in a national Mexican airline.

Due to this alliance, both carriers now share best practices in sales, equipment maintenance, and operations, including streamlined purchasing processes. Collectively, Delta and Aeromexico—Mexico’s leading national airline—now offer 93 code share destinations, to the tune of 733 daily flights in eight countries.

Today, Delta offers U.S. flights to Mexico’s three leading business centers: the industrial hub that is Monterrey, the magical capital of Mexico City, and Guadalajara, also known as the “City of Roses.” With these gateways alone, one gets an eyeful of so many of the sights and sounds that make up the Mexican Republic—but Delta offers much more. Six beach destinations in both the Atlantic and Pacific sides reveal why Mexico is always a top choice for leisure travelers. Whether it’s for a thrilling weekend getaway, a family adventure or a quiet romantic escape by the sea, clients can easily fly nonstop from several U.S. cities to Cancun, Cozumel, Los Cabos, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. And through its alliance with Aeromexico, Delta can now take passengers to many more towns and cities throughout Mexico.

These nine gateways showcase the affluence of Mexico’s many attractions, created by nature and enhanced by man. The country’s vast contrasts in topography, confluence of cultures and almost embarrassing variety of choices for visitors astounds even the most sophisticated of travelers. Here’s a glimpse of the wonders and pleasures that Mexico lays out before you.
