Starting January 2015, Un-Cruise Adventures will be offering a new marine life adventure cruise in Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Biosphere Reserve.

The 84-passenger Safari Endeavour will sail the week-long itinerary, Baja’s Bounty! Whale Sharks, Whales & Mobulas, roundtrip from San Jose del Cabo, Mexico from November to March exploring the area’s marine-rich waters and remote desert islands. The new itinerary combines active explorations with seasonal sea life encounters such as viewing gray whales from January to March, or snorkeling in Bahia de La Paz where guests get an up-close look at gentle whale sharks—the largest known fish in the sea. Travelers will also visit Isla San Francisco, Isla San Jose, Bahia Agua Verde, Isla Coronados, Los Islotes, Ensenada Grande and Isla Cerralvo, as well as spend a half-day in Loreto for a walking tour of the historic town. Also included in all cruises is desert hiking, a mule ride into the arroyo, kayaking, paddleboarding, skiff excursions and snorkeling with sea lions.

Winter holiday departures are scheduled for Dec. 20 and 27, 2014 and Dec. 19 and 26, 2015. Rates start at $2,955 pp dbl and includes all activities; meals; fine wine, premium spirits and microbrews; hot tub, sauna, exercise equipment, yoga on deck, and a massage; transfers and port charges.
