SLS Playa Mujeres has introduced Liora, a new kosher dining program offering supervised kosher cuisine throughout select venues and in-room services. The resort, located north of Cancun in Playa Mujeres, is an all-inclusive property and is now prepared to meet the needs of your clients following kosher dietary laws.

Kosher by the Sea
Liora gives clients a structured approach to kosher dining, available as an add-on to any eligible stay. The package costs $100 per adult (ages 12 and older) and $40 per child (ages 12 and under), including taxes. The rate applies daily per person for the duration of the reservation. The program is certified under Rabbinical supervision and includes meal preparation, ingredient selection and service standards that align with kosher requirements.
The offering covers a range of experiences, including daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and Shabbat services. Guests can expect Halavi and Besari menu options, in-room dining and pre-prepared Shabbat meals. Every dish is made with certified kosher ingredients, using dedicated storage and cooking spaces. Oversight is provided by an authorized Mashgiach. Culinary staff have undergone training to maintain compliance in all stages of food preparation and service.
Rabbi Simantob Rafael Nigri, Chief Rabbi of Neve Shalom, the Jewish Community of Cancun, described Liora as a carefully developed initiative that allows guests who observe kosher practices to dine with confidence and convenience.
Liora service has scheduled availability across multiple outlets within SLS Playa Mujeres:
- In-Room Dining: 7 a.m.–9 p.m. daily
- The Market: Kosher Halavi breakfast service
- Cleo Restaurant: Kosher Besari lunch and dinner
- Pool & Cabana: Kosher Besari menu
- The Press: Select kosher Halavi items such as sandwiches and sealed desserts
- Shabbat Meals: Prepared and served in accordance with Shabbat timing
In addition to daily operations, Liora accommodates larger gatherings such as receptions and group dinners. Kosher banquet menus can be structured to suit event size and service flow.
