Dream Hotel Group will add the Dream Hotels brand to Mexico; the first Dream Hotel will open in Valle de Guadalupe in 2021. This marks the first Dream Hotel location and third hotel deal signed in Mexico within the last year.

The new property—signed with Cosmopolitan Group—will be located on over 35 acres in the Baja California region of Mexico, which is located less than two hours from San Diego, and will feature a vineyard as it’s located on the Ruta del Vino wine route with easy access to dozens of the region’s wineries. This boutique hotel property will feature 61 guestrooms and villas, a luxury spa and wellness concept, and as well as three dining and nightlife venues including a private tasting room and pool bar.

“Cosmopolitan Group’s roots are based in Baja California and the company has intimate knowledge of the culture, as well as extensive knowledge and understanding of the market. They are innovators with a vision of creating something new, fresh and authentic to the region,” says Dream Hotel Group CEO Jay Stein in press materials. “The area is Mexico’s food and wine destination, a perfect fit for Dream Hotels and its emphasis on world class food and beverage experiences.”

The property’s signature restaurant will feature a known celebrity chef to cater to its guests.

“Dream Valle de Guadalupe is an exciting collaboration between some of the best minds in the hospitality industry. The region will offer guests an opportunity to immerse themselves in the food and wine culture and natural tranquility encompassing Valle de Guadalupe,” says Ariel Sanett, v.p. of development, Dream Hotel Group in press materials.
