Guests traveling to Mexico this holiday season and staying at Velas Resorts can enjoy the Christmas Experience without missing the holiday festivities while away from home.
The Christmas Experience package (offered at all Velas properties) allows guests to choose the holiday activities online prior to their arrival. Options include a Christmas Tree delivered to their suite, either pre-decorated or with ornaments for the family to decorate together, as well as gifts delivered to the suite. Guests can choose also from a pre-selected list offering a choice of ornaments, tree toppers, and presents. On Christmas morning, kids stating at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya receive a stuffed Amy doll, the resort’s mascot, while guests staying at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit receive a stuffed Pancho doll. The resort’s sister property, Casa Velas, offering adults-only accommodations, offers the same Christmas tree services, but gifts range from luxury accessories to clothing and jewelry.
The resorts will also host activities such as cupcake and ornament decorating; cooking classes; break dancing lessons; traditional Maya dance shows; a Santa’s workshop; live animal shows; sand sculpting and more. At Casa Velas, the package also includes holiday turndown service, a $30 spa credit per adult per night, unlimited golf at Marina Vallarta and Vista Vallarta Golf Clubs, 10 percent discount at the resort boutique, and either a City and Shopping or a Cultural and Tequila tour. Guests at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit receive a 35 percent discount as an Early Booking Bonus with bookings made by Dec. 18. Rates start at $311 per night at Casa Velas, $433 per night at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, and $587 pp at Grand Velas Riviera Maya.
