Following an 8-year absence, Celebrity Cruises is returning to the Mexican Riviera with a variety of 7- and 8-night sailings. Departing from the Port of Los Angeles, Celebrity Millennium, which was recently transformed as part of the line’s extensive multi-million-dollar Celebrity Revolution, will offer 12 sailings from late-September through mid-December, before embarking on a special 15-night bucket-list Panama Canal crossing over the holidays.

“With Celebrity Millennium sailing the summer 2022 Alaska season, we saw an opportunity to then head south and bring our stunning ship to the LA region,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises, in a press release statement. “As the ship has just completed a voyage of transformation, she will provide the perfect surroundings for West Coasters ready for their own exciting transformative getaway in 2022.”

The two Mexican Riviera itineraries visit Puerto Vallarta, nestled between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific ocean; Cabo San Lucas at the tip of the Baja Peninsula; and the pristine beaches of Mazatlan, also known as the Pacific Pearl. It also features culinary tours and Guadalupe Valley wine tastings offered in Ensenada.

On the Panama Canal journey, guests on board Celebrity Millennium will enjoy holiday traditions and ring in the New Year on-board while visiting Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta in the Mexican Riviera; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Colon, Panama; and Cartagena, Colombia; along with crossing through the Panama Canal.
