Latour and Embratur want you to learn why it’s better in Brazil. The tour operators are heading south to showcase the Many Worlds of Brazil on a road show whose seminars will play Oct. 6-10 in Memphis, Atlanta, Orlando, West Palm Beach and Miami. A member of the Isramworld group, Latour’s vice president, Arthur Berman, will be introducing agents to South America’s giant of a country, Brazil—the size of the U.S. east of the Mississippi—and briefing all seminar attendees on the company’s tours and packages. It’ll highlighting attractions from Rio and Sao Paulo to the cruise world of the Amazon, the wildlife of the Pantanal, the colonial cities and beach resorts of the Northeast coast. Co-sponsor of these presentations is Embratur and the Brazilian Tourism Office, whose spokesman, Miguel Jeronimo, will update guests on new infrastructure and attractions that were added by the host country of the 2014 World Cup; he will also give attendees a first look at preview plans for Brazil’s next major event: the Summer Olympics 2016.
