In mid-2018, Argentina will welcome its first Hampton by Hilton property in San Carlos de Bariloche, a popular tourist destination situated in the foothills of the Andes along the shoreline of the Nahuel Huapi Lake. The new 105-guestroom, five-story Hampton by Hilton Bariloche is being built in partnership with Free Way Group, a 50-year veteran in the tourism business in this region.
“Hilton Worldwide’s 13 distinct hotel brands fit every need and lifestyle, offering everything from luxury to focused-service for both travelers and developers,” says Eduardo Rodriguez Suarez, Hilton Worldwide’s managing director, development, Brazil and the Southern Cone Region. “The new-build hotel in Argentina will offer Hampton by Hilton’s quality-driven and value-conscious amenities and services that distinguish the brand, and will support the hotel’s positioning in Bariloche to be the first choice of travelers visiting this leading destination.”
Located in a mixed-use development with retail stores and a plaza, Hampton by Hilton Bariloche will feature a fitness center and a Perfect Mix Lobby offering unique amenities.
“High-quality accommodations and amenities, such as complimentary WiFi, Hampton’s On the House hot breakfast, multi-unit power cubes and the brand’s signature Clean and Fresh Hampton bed, contribute to Hampton by Hilton ranking as a leader in its segment,” says Suarez.
Additional amenities include a 24-hour snack area and a bar area with evening dining options. Guests can take advantage of Hampton by Hilton Bariloche’s ideal setting in the foothills of the Andes Mountains through outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking.
“Hampton by Hilton Bariloche will also participate in Hilton HHonors,” Suarez goes on to say. “Hilton HHonors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels receive instant benefits, including an exclusive discount, free standard WiFi and digital amenities like digital check-in with room selection through the industry-leading Hilton HHonors app.”
So why book your clients at the new Hilton property? Says Suarez, “The hotel will be located downtown, less than two blocks from the Centro Civico, the city’s main meeting point. Most of the rooms will have views of Nahuel Huapi Lake, making Hampton by Hilton Bariloche the ideal option for leisure travelers.” And if you’re wondering which clients to book, Suarez notes Hampton by Hilton Bariloche will serve “value-conscious and quality-driven travelers,” as well as multi-generational clientele because of its “friendly and authentic international service and its high-quality amenities.”
Hampton by Hilton Bariloche will join Hilton Garden Inn Tucuman, Hilton Buenos Aires and Anselmo Buenos Aires, Curio Collection by Hilton as Hilton Worldwide’s fourth property in Argentina. In addition to the Bariloche signing, Hilton Worldwide plans to expand further in Latin America with the the opening of properties in Bucaramanga and Medellin, Colombia, and Antogasta, Chile.
