Though the global pandemic stopped tourism to Israel for now, new hotels are still beginning to pop up throughout the country and 2021 is going to see modern and luxury retreats opening up in this historic country.

Scheduled to open in March 2021, the Six Senses Shaharut will open in the Arava Valley of the Negev Desert with 58 ultra-luxe and sustainable suites and villas. The onsite activity center will include an Earth Lab, camel stables, Senses Spa, authentic Bedouin dining experience and more. Adventure travelers will get to enjoy nearby activities such as off-roading, mountain climbing, mountain biking, rappelling and more.

Soho House Tel Aviv.

The much-anticipated opening of Soho House Tel Aviv is scheduled for spring 2021. Soho House is known for its exclusive and luxury experience, with more than 27 locations throughout the world. Located in a former convent in the historic Jaffa neighborhood of Israel, Soho House Tel Aviv will feature an outdoor pool, terrace, and 24 guestrooms.

Scheduled to open sometime in 2021, Nobu Hotel Tel Aviv will be located on the city’s bustling Rothschild Boulevard, close to some of the area’s top attractions and cultural events. The hotel will offer 38 thoughtfully designed accommodations, a large garden, a fitness center, a pool, outdoor spaces and a private rooftop ideal for special events.

The Sofia Sea of Galilee Hotel postponed its opening from October 2020 to early 2021 due to the global pandemic. A converted 19th-century historic stone house, the hotel is located in the heart of the city, and a few minutes’ walk to the city-center and the Sea of ​​Galilee. It features 120 luxury rooms, a luxurious spa, several restaurants and bars, and an infinity pool. In addition, the hotel’s wine cellar offers a menu that has been specially curated with wines from the Judean, Galilee and Golan vineyards.

Isrotel’s newest addition in Tel Aviv, Port Tower Hotel, is scheduled to open in 2021. This contemporary urban business hotel will be perfectly situated in the Tel Aviv port’s northern area, offering magnificent sea views. The hotel includes 154 rooms and penthouses and includes many amenities such as a heated indoor pool, tantalizing restaurant, inviting lobby bar, conference and meeting hall, and convenient nearby parking.
